TON Foundation to Launch Bitcoin Cross-Chain Bridge Service TON Teleport BTC

On July 17, Decrypt reported that the TON Foundation is proposing to launch TON Teleport BTC, a bitcoin cross-chain bridge.

TON Teleport BTC is said to be a trust-free bridge service designed to facilitate secure bitcoin transfers to and from the Telegram-linked network.The TON Foundation said the bridge service is designed to allow bitcoin holders to participate in decentralized financial (DeFi) activities on TON while keeping their original assets secure.
