Korea National Pension Fund: Has invested in Coinbase and MicroStrategy instead of directly investing in Bitcoin
The National Pension Service of South Korea (NPS) stated that it has invested in companies such as Coinbase and MicroStrategy, rather than directly investing in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. These companies were included in the investment portfolio due to decisions made by benchmark indices or external managers. NPS stated that any decision to limit investments in crypto-related stocks is the responsibility of the fund management committee and will be implemented after adjusting the benchmark index.
