French Blockchain Securities Trading Platform Kriptown Closes €4.2 Million Series A Funding Led by BNP Paribas and Others
On October 10, Kriptown, a French blockchain securities trading platform, announced the completion of a €4.2 million Series A funding round led by BNP Paribas, Bpifrance and Centilux Family Office, with BNP Paribas and Bpifrance becoming shareholders in the company.
The new funds will be used to establish a European stock exchange dedicated to SMEs under the European DLT pilot regime, allowing the creation of financial markets based on blockchain technology.
In addition, Kriptown has formally submitted an application for a DLT TSS (Trading and Settlement System) license to the French Agency for Prudential Regulation and Resolution (ACPR) under the European DLT Pilot Regime.
