U.S. stocks open mixed, cryptocurrency concept stocks generally fall
The U.S. stock market opened mixed, with the Dow Jones up 0.16%, the Nasdaq down 0.05%, and the SP 500 index up 0.01%. Bitcoin surged and then fell back, with cryptocurrency concept stocks generally falling; Riot Platforms dropped more than 6%, Canaan Technology, Bit Digital, Coinbase fell more than 4%, MicroStrategy dropped more than 2%.
