ZachXBT: It is suspected that someone was hacked and approximately 29 million dollars were stolen on the Sui network last month
According to on-chain detective ZachXBT, it is suspected that someone was hacked on the Sui network last month (December 12, 2024), with approximately $29 million (6.27 million SUI) stolen. The stolen funds were bridged from Sui to Ethereum via Bridgers and then deposited into Tornado Cash in batches. Shortly after the theft occurred, the victim transferred their .sui domain name to a new unaffected address. Due to the functional limitations of the Sui blockchain explorer, this theft incident is difficult to track.
