Trump: Tariffs may bring "transition period problems"

US President Trump stated that his tariff policy might bring about "transitional issues", but the current state of the US is "very good". During a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Trump said: "In the end, this will be a wonderful thing." He also pointed out that US stocks rose on Wednesday after he announced a 90-day suspension of "reciprocal tariffs". He said: “Yesterday was a big day.” Trump also mentioned that government officials have been discussing agreements with countries who have taken the initiative to contact them.
