Analyst: Q1 Cryptocurrency Performance Sluggish, Optimistic About Q2 Rebound
According to ChainCatcher, reported by Cointelegraph, Bitcoin and Ethereum fell by 11.82% and 45.41% respectively in the first quarter of 2025, marking the weakest Q1 performance in years. Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan called it "the best worst quarter in crypto history."
Analysts have identified several factors that may drive a market rebound in Q2: an increase in global money supply, an improved regulatory environment in the United States, and a record high in stablecoin assets under management (exceeding $218 million).
