Bitrue hacker is currently using 16.345 million DAI to purchase ETH
According to on-chain analyst Yujin, the Bitrue hacker is currently using 16.345 million DAI to purchase ETH, and then laundering the ETH through Tornado. These DAI were obtained by selling ETH at a price of $3,885 in March last year. In April 2023, the hacker stole multiple tokens worth $23 million at the time from the Bitrue exchange and then converted these assets into ETH. In March 2024, he sold 4,207 ETH at $3,885 each, exchanging them for 16.345 million DAI. An hour ago, he transferred both DAI and ETH to a new address and is now using the DAI to buy ETH, which is then being laundered through Tornado.
