The Kingdom of Bhutan launches Solana-based gold-backed token TER
Jinse Finance reported, citing CoinDesk, that the Kingdom of Bhutan has launched a sovereign-backed, gold-backed token called TER, which is issued through Gelephu Mindfulness City and custodied by DK Bank. The TER token is built on the Solana blockchain, providing international investors with a digital representation of physical gold, featuring on-chain transparency and global transferability. The token aims to serve as a new bridge between traditional value storage and blockchain-based finance. Investors can directly acquire TER tokens through DK Bank, Bhutan's first licensed digital bank.
