U.S. stocks open with the Dow slightly up, Oracle plunges and drags down AI stocks
ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten Data, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.05%, the S&P 500 Index fell by 0.37%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 0.6%. Oracle (ORCL.N) plunged 14% as both its earnings and guidance missed expectations, dragging down AI stocks. NVIDIA (NVDA.O) fell 2%, Intel (INTC.O) dropped 1.9%, and Micron Technology (MU.O) declined 0.95%.
