Foresight News reported that according to BTC Map data, the number of merchants worldwide accepting BTC payments grew by approximately 50% year-on-year in 2025. In January 2025, there were about 12,000 merchants supporting BTC payments, increasing to around 19,900 by early 2026. Of these, 11,200 have been verified, including 851 trading platforms.
