According to Odaily, Sky has removed the Spark (SPK) token rewards for staking SKY tokens. Sky's official post on X stated that this move will reduce SPK emissions by approximately 30%. Combined with the proposed updates to the Spark buyback parameters, these adjustments are expected to reduce net SPK emissions by 40%.
Based on current net income and SPK price calculations, this equates to a reduction of approximately $23 million in emissions over the next 12 months.
