The number of upgraded tokens on Pump.fun has dropped to 1.15% of newly issued tokens.
PANews, February 19 — According to Cryptopolitan, Pump.fun's weekly token upgrade rate has increased to 1.15% of all tokens, marking the highest level since the summer of 2025.
Pump.fun is once again attempting to accelerate the pace of token creation and upgrades. Over the past few weeks, the number of token upgrades has continued to rise, resulting in higher trading fees on Pump.Swap.
Overall, the token upgrade rate now averages 1.15% of the total number of newly issued tokens, marking the first time in months that this metric has surpassed 1%. Historically, the token upgrade rate peaked at around 2% before dropping to about 0.5%, which equates to approximately 80 tokens per day.
