Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and others selected for Forbes Fintech 50 in 2026
BlockBeats news, on February 20, Forbes released the 11th annual 2026 Fintech 50 list, with five cryptocurrency companies making the cut: prediction market platform Polymarket (raised $2.3 billions), Securitize (raised $425 millions), Phantom (raised $268 millions), Ledn (raised $107 millions), and Hyperliquid (raised $0).
Although the valuation of the cryptocurrency industry is relatively conservative compared to artificial intelligence startups, it still demonstrates potential for innovation and rapid growth. According to CB Insights data, total private fintech funding reached $53 billions in 2025, down from $152 billions in 2021, but it marked the first year of growth after four consecutive years of decline.
