DFINITY Foundation: 20% of cloud engine revenue will be used to burn ICP
According to Odaily, the DFINITY Foundation posted on X that the economic model of Internet Computer is undergoing changes. Under the old model, node providers were only compensated for running nodes; under the new model, 80% of cloud engine revenue will be distributed to the nodes powering it, while 20% will be used to burn ICP. Currently, the Node Providers Association has begun promoting the cloud engine to enterprises across Europe.
