In response to the surge, Vietnam has reached out to countries such as Qatar, Kuwait, Algeria, and Japan for assistance with fuel supplies. Additionally, a new agreement was signed with Russia on Monday to collaborate on oil and gas projects in both nations.

Crude oil prices experienced a significant drop during early Wednesday trading, fueled by optimism that tensions may ease after US President Donald Trump expressed hope for a resolution to the conflict, which has lasted nearly a month. Earlier, oil prices had climbed in European and other global markets.
