Golden Ten Data Futures, March 26 – According to foreign media reports, the Baltic Dry Index rose for the second consecutive day, supported by stronger Capesize vessel rates. The Baltic Dry Index increased by 13 points, or 0.7%, to 2,014 points compared to the previous trading day. The Capesize Index rose by 59 points, or 2%, to 2,974 points, reaching a near one-week high. Average daily earnings for Capesize vessels increased by $534 to $23,471. The Panamax Index fell by 26 points, or 1.5%, to 1,770 points, marking a six-week low. Average daily earnings for Panamax vessels declined by $235 to $15,931. The Supramax Index slipped by 3 points, or 0.3%, to 1,205 points.
