Polygon founder: Last week, stablecoin transaction volume on Polygon reached nearly 160 million, setting a new record high
ChainCatcher reports that Sandeep Nailwal, founder of Polygon, posted on X stating that the number of stablecoin transactions on Polygon reached 159.9 million last week, a record high. At the same time, Polygon's on-chain stablecoin transaction volume, number of active addresses, and other core metrics also increased in sync, indicating that the network is experiencing a "flywheel effect" of growth. In addition, Polygon PoS network checkpoints have surpassed 100 thousand, with network usage continuing to expand.
Sandeep Nailwal added that, amid renewed claims that "crypto is dead," teams that continue to build often develop valuable products during cycles, and Polygon is accelerating the construction of the future of on-chain payments.
