Delphi Digital co-founder criticizes Circle for not freezing USDC transfers involved in the Drift attack
Foresight News reported that Tommy Shaughnessy, co-founder of Delphi Digital, posted on Twitter criticizing Circle for not freezing USDC transfers related to the Drift attack incident. "Circle is aware that USDC is centralized but chooses to allow the free movement of funds. I like USDC, but we can freeze funds flowing to North Korea."
Previously, Foresight News reported that on-chain detective ZachXBT tweeted that Circle acted slowly during the Drift attack incident. Millions of USDC were transferred from Solana to Ethereum via CCTP over several hours without being frozen, resulting in smooth fund transfers.
