Lighter founder: Application process for on-chain derivatives trading license has been initiated

ChainCatcher reports that Lighter founder and CEO Vladimir Novakovski stated during the Q1 investor conference call that Lighter has initiated the application process for an on-chain derivatives trading license. He noted that attracting large traditional financial institutions such as Citadel would not be feasible without a proper license.
