Opinion: AAVE exchange reserves increase to 2.23 million tokens, price may remain under pressure
Odaily reports that CryptoQuant platform author Darkfost posted on X that Aave fell below $100 in March. There was internal disagreement within the protocol, and core contributors such as BGD Labs and Chaos Labs left. Since early February, exchange AAVE reserves have increased from 2.07 million to 2.23 million, with one exchange holding 1.63 million. During the same period, another exchange's reserves rose from 1.57 million to 1.63 million. Aave exchange reserves have now climbed above the 90-day moving average, ending a downward reserve trend that began in April 2025. This indicates that more AAVE tokens are currently being sent to exchanges, which may result in increased short-term selling pressure.
