After NLRB ruling, Google can challenge its “joint employer” status

A three-member panel of the NLRB stated that Google and its subcontractor Accenture must act as "joint employers" and negotiate with the Alphabet Workers Union (AWU-CWA), affiliated with the Communications Workers of America. This ruling will allow Google to file a lawsuit in federal court to challenge the NLRB's certification of the union election results (which established Google's status as a joint employer).
