The unlocking rate of WLD tokens will decrease in July, with a total reduction of 43%.

Odaily reported that the official World blog announced that the WLD token unlock rate will be automatically reduced by approximately 43% starting from July 24, 2026. Currently, 490 million WLD (49% of the total supply) have been unlocked, with about 330 million in circulation. Specifically, the World community portion unlock rate will decrease from 3.2 million per day to 1.6 million per day, a 50% reduction; the team and investor portion unlock rate will drop from 1.9 million per day to 1.3 million per day, a 32% reduction. The total unlock volume will decrease from about 5.1 million per day to about 2.9 million per day.

WLD adopts a continuous linear unlock mechanism, with no large one-time unlocks (cliffs). This rate reduction results from a predetermined on-chain contract arrangement and aims to gradually decrease selling pressure.
