Aave Labs launches AI-powered governance security review system Aave Checkpoint

According to Foresight News, Aave Labs has launched an AI-driven governance security review system called Aave Checkpoint. This system introduces a structured, multi-level review process for each proposal and its payload before on-chain execution. As a security service provider, Checkpoint complements Certora's manual proposal review by combining automated analysis with mandatory human verification, ensuring that no proposal goes on-chain without a thorough review. Each AI report must be confirmed by at least two independent human reviewers before completing the review and being approved. Aave Labs stated that as the protocol scales, this system will continue to improve the quality and consistency of governance proposal reviews.
