ether.fi: LayerZero bridging for weETH and eETH will be restored within 24 hours
Odaily reported that ether.fi posted on X, stating that, following the guidance of security partners, the LayerZero bridging functionality for weETH and eETH will be restored within the next 24 hours. ether.fi previously confirmed that its Liquid Vault is not directly exposed to the risk of the Kelp rsETH incident for now, but, as a precaution, decided to suspend LayerZero cross-chain bridging for weETH and eETH until the root cause of the Kelp rsETH event is clarified.
At the same time, for the Liquid (ETH, BTC, USD), sETHFI, and eBTC products, the related Teller contracts have been paused to block the LayerZero OFT bridging route. Deposit and withdrawal functions for these assets have also been suspended, and ether.fi is currently working closely with security partners.
