Aave community releases ARFC proposal to optimize USDC liquidity buffer on Ethereum Core
Foresight News reports that Circle member Gordon Liao has submitted an ARFC proposal in the Aave community titled “Optimizing USDC Liquidity Buffer on Ethereum Core.” The proposal states that USDC on Aave v3 Ethereum Core has remained at near-full utilization for four consecutive days. It recommends adjusting the Slope 2 target value from around 10% to 50%, and setting a temporary risk control threshold at 40%; adjusting the optimal utilization target value from 92% to 85%, and setting a temporary threshold at 87%; maintaining Slope 1 at 3.5%, the base rate at 0%, and the reserve factor at 10%; and temporarily suspending or setting a lower limit on the Slope 2 risk oracle for USDC during this event, with restoration once conditions normalize.
