BlockBeats News, May 5th, at the opening of the US stock market, the Dow rose 0.45%, the S&P 500 rose 0.57%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.76%. Storage-related stocks continued to rise, with Micron Technology (MU.O) up 6%, SanDisk (SNDK.O) up 3%, and Western Digital (WDC.O) up 3.5%. Paypal (PYPL.O) dropped 10% after its earnings report. Intel (INTC.O) rose 6% in early trading.
