The company stated that after the shutdown, the facility is currently undergoing start-up operations, and increased smoke or flaring may be observed at the site. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said in an email response that inspectors have been dispatched to the refinery after the incident and air pollution levels in the area continue to be closely monitored.
