TeraWulf acquires 1 GW high-performance computing campus in Eastern Kentucky to expand its infrastructure platform
According to ChainCatcher and official sources, TeraWulf has announced the acquisition of a large-scale, high-performance computing (HPC) development site in a strategic location in eastern Kentucky (the "Muskie Data Park"). This acquisition significantly expands TeraWulf's portfolio of large digital infrastructure parks with energy advantages and advances the company's strategy to develop AI and HPC sites with long-term power supply, transmission infrastructure, and strong community support, ready to begin construction at any time. The initial batch of 500 megawatts ("MW") is expected to start ramping up for delivery in the second half of 2028, with an additional 500 MW targeted for delivery in the second half of 2030.
