Bitget Spot Trading Now Available on Weekends, Initially Supporting 20 Assets including Nvidia and Apple
BlockBeats News, June 12th, according to an official announcement, to meet users' round-the-clock trading needs, Bitget Stock Spot (rToken) has officially launched weekend trading functionality. The first batch of support includes 20 popular US stock targets such as rAAPL (Apple), rNVDA (Nvidia), and rTSLA (Tesla).
During the US stock market's closing hours, the platform will generate weekend continuous trading prices based on the Friday closing price, market maker quotes, and market expectations. This feature supports limit orders and take-profit/stop-loss settings. To prevent abnormal fluctuations, the system has set a ±20% protection limit for weekend limit orders.
The rToken, identified by the letter r + stock symbol (e.g., rNVDA for Nvidia), is issued by Bitget's licensed RWA protocol Reality and is directly connected to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE through cooperation with compliant brokerage Alpaca. Its features include: a 1:1 reserve of underlying assets held by a licensed custodian, stock dividends distributed 1:1 in token form, synchronization of corporate actions such as stock splits and mergers with tokens, and positions serving as collateral for both the unified account and U-based contracts, allowing users to hold global stock assets while still being able to flexibly manage funds.
