Fidelity says Waller's explanation of inflation after the Federal Reserve decision may trigger volatility in the bond market

Fidelity Fixed Income Portfolio Manager Julian Potenza stated that after bond investors digest the Federal Reserve’s policy statement and summary of economic projections on Wednesday, Waller’s post-decision appearance could become a catalyst for market volatility. This is an interesting situation, because although no one really expects the Federal Reserve to actually take action, there is indeed some risk of volatility since we don’t know what Waller will communicate.
