Gelonghui June 18th|According to CNBC, JetBlue Airways plans to close its cabin crew base at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey this fall, along with its technical operations bases at both this airport and New York's LaGuardia Airport. The report states that this move aims to cut costs and strengthen services at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida. This airport is a profitable hub for JetBlue Airways, where the company holds a dominant market position. Earlier this year, JetBlue Airways announced plans to slow hiring, reduce capacity, and increase ticket prices to mitigate the impact of soaring aviation fuel costs.
