- Golden Ten Data, June 24 — ASML (ASML.US) and the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) announced a collaboration to jointly develop and promote the industrialization of photonic chips. The partnership will focus on the photonic chip pilot production line being built at TNO's High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, Netherlands. ASML will provide phased manufacturing technology support, including DUV and I-Line lithography equipment. After the project is operational, the facility will have the capacity for mass production of indium phosphide (InP) photonic chips using six-inch wafers.
