Golden Ten Data reported on July 14 that, according to Korean media, the KOSPI Index in Korea has held the 6,800-point mark after intense struggles between bulls and bears. Due to the previous day's market crash, retail investors' confidence was shaken; meanwhile, foreign and institutional investors entered the market and supported the index. Data reveals that retail investors sold Korean stocks aggressively, with net sales reaching 4.15 trillion Korean won. Foreign investors and institutions made net purchases of 961.6 billion Korean won and 3.21 trillion Korean won, respectively. Among institutional investors, the "financial investment" department, which reflects ETF capital flows, made net purchases of 1.89 trillion Korean won, pension funds net purchased 86.8 billion Korean won, and insurance companies net purchased 150.8 billion Korean won.
