ENS DAO has initiated a proposal to establish a new Security Council with a term lasting until July 2028.
According to ChainCatcher, ENS DAO has initiated a proposal to establish a new Security Council based on the EP 6.50 election results, with a term of two years ending on July 16, 2028.
According to the proposal, the new Security Council will inherit the current responsibilities and will continue to be responsible for canceling malicious proposals in ENS DAO. It will not have the authority to initiate, modify, or actively promote governance proposals. The proposal will be configured by granting the corresponding permissions to the DAO's TimelockController.
The proposal also states that after the two-year term expires, if the DAO does not pass a new proposal to extend it, any address may call the relevant function to revoke its proposal cancellation authority.
