(1) Several major UK pension institutions plan to establish a dedicated £1 billion growth fund to invest in domestic technology innovation enterprises, aiming to channel more pension savings into local businesses to boost economic growth. (2) The initiative is supported by leading pension institutions such as Railpen and Nest, and is being jointly promoted by British Business Bank. The fund will focus on investing in high-quality, established companies, helping them scale up, commercialize new technologies, and create jobs. (3) UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that this plan represents a "vote of confidence" in UK domestic enterprises.
