TRON Holds Multi-Year Bullish Trend as Institutional Adoption Accelerates—Can TRX Price Reach $1?

Story Highlights
  • TRON price continues holding its multi-year bullish trend, with a breakout above $0.33 potentially opening the door to $0.65.

  • Strong fundamentals, including $86 billion in USDT supply and S&P Crypto Index inclusion, support TRON's long-term growth potential

TRON has emerged as one of the strongest-performing cryptos with a consistent upswing. The token currently trades near the $0.33 resistance after maintaining a multi-year uptrend. Unlike several major cryptos, the TRX price has avoided prolonged bear market declines. Meanwhile, the network hosts over $86 billion in USDT supply and has processed nearly 950 million transactions. Recent institutional developments have further strengthened its long-term outlook. Can these catalysts help TRON break above $0.33 and extend its multi-year rally?

TRX Price Holds Long-Term Bullish Structure

TRON continues respecting a multi-year ascending trendline on the weekly chart. The trendline has supported every major correction since 2019. This reflects sustained long-term buying interest.

The chart also highlights three major bullish cycles since 2020. TRX rallied nearly 1,736% during its first parabolic phase. The second rally delivered gains of around 145%. The token now trades near $0.325, consolidating above its long-term trendline.

TRX is holding above the ascending trendline while consolidating near $0.325. A breakout above the recent highs could trigger the next bullish leg. Based on previous market cycles, the chart projects a potential move toward $0.65. That represents an upside of nearly 100% from current levels. However, the move requires a confirmed breakout above resistance.

Failure to hold the ascending trendline could delay the bullish outlook. A breakdown below this support may trigger a deeper correction. Even then, the broader uptrend would remain valid unless TRX forms lower lows on the weekly chart.

Institutional Adoption and Network Growth Strengthen TRON’s Fundamentals

Several fundamental developments continue supporting TRON’s long-term growth story:

  • S&P Crypto Index Inclusion: TRON was selected among 18 assets in S&P’s inaugural crypto index in July 2026.
  • Stablecoin Leadership: TRON hosts over $86 billion in USDT supply, making it the leading blockchain for Tether transfers.
  • High Network Activity: The network has processed nearly 950 million transactions while maintaining strong daily active user growth.
  • Payment Ecosystem Expansion: TRON captured around 34% of chain-level crypto payment volume in Q2 2026, driven by stablecoin adoption.
  • Pyrrho Upgrade: The mandatory upgrade, scheduled for August 16, 2026, will improve network security and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility.

Can TRON Price Reach $1?

A $1 TRON remains an ambitious long-term target, not an immediate expectation. The current chart projects a potential move toward $0.65 after a confirmed breakout. That would represent nearly 100% upside from current levels. Reaching $1 would require another strong expansion beyond that projected target. Continued network growth and institutional adoption could improve those odds over time. For now, the $0.33 resistance remains the most important level to watch. A decisive breakout could determine whether TRON’s next parabolic phase has truly begun.
