Nymex US crude oil futures main contract fell by 4.02% intraday, trading at $79.29 per barrel.

The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged is 69.5%, while the probability of a rate hike in September has increased.

Spot platinum has just broken through the $1,620.00/oz level, now quoted at $1,620.05/oz, down 0.18% on the day; Nymex platinum futures main contract is now quoted at $1,627.8/oz, down 0.27% on the day.

Reuters survey: The average platinum price in 2026 is expected to be $1,925 per ounce, compared to $2,067 in the previous survey; the average palladium price in 2026 is expected to be $1,483 per ounce, compared to $1,583 in the previous survey.

EUR/USD just reached the 1.1400 mark, last trading at 1.1400, up 0.29% on the day.
