According to KBS, Kim Yong-beom, Director of the Policy Office at the Office of the President of South Korea, announced that the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service have been asked to investigate the structural factors behind the higher volatility of the Korean stock market compared to other markets. The assessment will cover market structure issues such as leveraged ETF, derivatives trading, and investor composition.
