NXP Semiconductors reported total revenue of $3.496 billion for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 19%. Diluted earnings per share were $3.02 (previously $1.75), a year-on-year growth of 72%. Net profit reached $767 million, up 72% year-on-year. Non-GAAP net profit was $918 million, a year-on-year increase of 33%, with Non-GAAP earnings per share of $3.61 (previously $2.72).

Driven by Seagate Technology's (STX.US) earnings report, US stock storage chip concept stocks rose after hours: Western Digital (WDC.US) up 6.5%, SK Hynix (SKHY.US) up 2.5%, Micron Technology (MU.US) up 0.8%, SanDisk (SNDK.US) up 1%, and Seagate Technology (STX.US) once surged 9%.
