web3: Weekly inflow for XRP ETF drops to $1.01 million
XRP has shown weakness in recent price movements, with a marginal slowdown in institutional funds becoming a focal point in the market. Latest data reveals that weekly inflows into XRP ETF have dropped to 1.01 million dollars, down significantly from 14.86 million dollars the previous week; meanwhile, the net assets of related products also fell from approximately 988 million dollars to 964 million dollars, ranking lower among major crypto ETFs.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Attract More Capital
Compared to XRP, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs displayed stronger capital performance. Bitcoin ETF recorded a net weekly inflow of 754 million dollars, showing a marked improvement from last week's net outflow; Ethereum ETF registered about 195 million dollars in net inflows, also higher than the previous week.
However, XRP's weekly numbers do not indicate continuous weakness. On August 5, related ETF funds experienced a net outflow of 3.58 million dollars, but then shifted to a net inflow of 3.45 million dollars on August 6, indicating that short-term funds remain volatile.
Grayscale Trust Experiences Net Outflows
Besides the ETF fund slowdown, Grayscale's XRP Trust is adding further pressure. According to the 10-Q filing submitted to the US SEC, the product saw a net outflow of 103.41 million XRP in the first half of 2026, equivalent to approximately 180.78 million dollars by the report's standards.
The derivatives market remains weak as well. Data from CoinGlass shows that XRP-related liquidations reached 9.48 million dollars, with nearly 98% coming from long positions. This suggests bullish positions suffered greater pressure during the price pullback.
The Market Focuses on Key Price Levels
Analysts remain cautious over short-term trends. Some market views suggest that if XRP fails to reclaim the 1.05 to 1.06 dollar range, its rebound potential may remain limited, as this area has shifted from previous support to resistance.

Other perspectives anticipate that, following the current downward phase, XRP may enter a prolonged consolidation period. At the time of writing, XRP posted a 24-hour gain of 0.64%, priced at 1.03 dollars, slightly below Bitcoin's 1.04% gain for the same period.
