Market Strategist: XRP Collapse Has Begun! You Must Prepare. Here’s why

Crypto analyst and Crypto Crusaders creator Levi Rietveld recently addressed XRP’s regulatory future, stating that the SEC no longer needs the CLARITY Act to move forward.

XRP is currently struggling near $1, and while Rietveld suggested that a collapse has begun, his video leans bullish on the asset’s future.

His remarks cut through the noise surrounding the bill’s Senate delay and refocused attention on what regulators are already doing. The CLARITY Act stalled. September 15 is the cloture vote date, and the bill still needs at least 7 Democratic votes to clear 60. But Rietveld’s core argument is that the stall is no longer the story.

The SEC Is Already Writing the Rules

Rietveld stated that “the SEC, the CFTC and the rest already hold the power to regulate crypto directly through their own rulemaking and guidance with no bill required to do it.” That position aligns with what SEC Chair Paul Atkins confirmed publicly.

Atkins said the agency is “ready, willing and able to come out with rules” whether Congress passes the CLARITY Act or not. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce reinforced this, confirming the SEC will tackle custody, tokenized securities trading, and fundraising frameworks for crypto assets regardless of the legislative outcome.

Rietveld noted that “formal rulemaking, official guidance, the next round of it moving forward within days.” Regulatory clarity, in his view, is not waiting for a Senate floor vote.

XRP Gets Pulled Into a Formal Structure

The key development Rietveld identifies is that every regulatory step “pulls XRP and XLM deeper into the regulated system.” XRP already secured legal clarity through Ripple’s prolonged court battle with the SEC. A formal rulemaking process now builds on that foundation.

Peirce confirmed the SEC’s agenda includes developing frameworks for crypto fundraising and trading of tokenized securities. These are areas where XRP’s settlement infrastructure has existing applications. A defined regulatory structure creates the legal certainty institutional investors require before entering a market at scale.

The Senate Vote Still Matters

Atkins made his own position clear. He believes statute is the right way to future-proof something. Agency rules can be reversed, but a law holds. The September 15 cloture vote still represents the cleaner path to long-term regulatory stability for XRP and the crypto market.

Senator Bernie Moreno confirmed that all 53 Senate Republicans will vote for cloture, and reports indicate 7 to 10 Democrats are ready to support the bill. Regulators are now actively building the framework. XRP sits inside that process, and the outcome points toward greater institutional access regardless of what the Senate does in September.
