Three major altcoins—NEAR Protocol, Zcash (ZEC), and BNB—are triggering bearish technical indicators, putting key support levels under close scrutiny. Market voices have underlined a series of technical sell signals, sparking renewed market caution as these assets approach crucial price thresholds.
NEAR risks fall to $3.76 as sell signals flash for Zcash and BNB
Technical signals heighten caution on NEAR, Zcash, and BNB
Market analyst Ali Charts identified recent sell signals across the three tokens by employing the TD Sequential, Parabolic SAR, and SuperTrend indicators. Historically, such signals have coincided with significant corrections, though this does not guarantee similar outcomes going forward.
NEAR’s weekly TD Sequential recently produced a sell indication. In a comparable past setup, NEAR experienced a 32% drop. The token has already declined 24%, with the $4.30 support level now seen as pivotal. A move below this point could open the door to $3.76.
Market participants are now watching whether NEAR can stabilize above $4.30 or if a breakdown could lead to a deeper fall toward the $3.76 area, given that the last TD Sequential sell signal resulted in an over 30% correction.
Analyst Giannis Andreou pointed out that NEAR broke above a multi-year descending trendline tracing back to its 2022 peak. This breakout led to a rally toward $6. He regards the $3.73 level as crucial for buyers, while $7.60 emerges as the next resistance if support holds. The $9 region is highlighted as the neckline of a potential double-bottom structure; a confirmed breakout there could reinforce optimism for targets up to $20.59, while a loss of $3.73 would weaken the bullish argument.
For Zcash, the Parabolic SAR indicator flipped bearish, as its dots shifted above the price. The last instance preceded a 54% correction. ZEC has already dropped 25%, with $1,100 and $850 now considered key support zones. Analyst Ardi described the current pullback as mean reversion after an overheated rally towards $1,600, suggesting that price may revert closer to historical averages before stabilizing or potentially rebounding.
BNB tests major support as trading volumes slip
BNB has also issued a sell signal, this time via the daily SuperTrend indicator. In earlier cases, this signal aligned with a 26% correction; BNB has so far edged down 8%. Ali cited $710 as the immediate support, with $680 serving as the next key level if sellers gain momentum.
Recent CoinGecko data lists BNB at $713.73, reflecting a 0.98% 24-hour decrease and a 4.67% decline over the past seven days. The 24-hour trading volume has fallen to $504.96 million, underscoring the cautious climate surrounding the token.
Technical analyst Don Wedge noted a falling wedge pattern in BNB’s daily chart since its $1,370 peak. Strong selling emerged near the $800 boundary, and price settled near $730. The lower boundary of the wedge is at $540, with a breakout above the upper trendline targeting $1,601.
For BNB, the critical focus is on whether buyers can defend $710, as a break could set the stage for an extended decline toward $680 or even lower boundaries within the current pattern.
Signals from technical models suggest a cautious stance, with actual support breakdowns likely to weigh more heavily on trader sentiment than the indicators themselves. Holding current supports could limit additional losses, while confirmed breaches may accelerate declines.
Meme token activity and investor tracking take spotlight
Alongside close attention to critical levels and market structure for NEAR, ZEC, and BNB, the meme token sector continues to attract traders seeking rapid gains. In this space, tracking which assets investors select, as well as precise timing, remains essential for identifying opportunities.
Fomo App reported a notable case involving the meme token “Niu Lai,” where an initial $99 investment ballooned to roughly $370,000. Such sharp surges underscore the unique dynamics within the meme token ecosystem. Fomo App enables users to discover and trade tokens on one platform, integrating social feeds, investor rankings, and trade s for better tracking of market trends and investor moves.
With sentiment data and technical models both drawing attention to downside risks for several major tokens, vigilance in both price movements and investor behavior appears increasingly important. The ensuing period is likely to see intensified focus on established support levels and the evolving activity within meme tokens.
