U.S. federal prosecutors are seeking to retry two brothers who are accused of stealing approximately $25 million in cryptocurrency from traders on the Ethereum blockchain. According to court documents filed on Monday, U.S. government lawyers are requesting District Court Judge Jessica Clarke to schedule a new fraud trial as soon as possible, with the earliest possible time in February, involving the two defendants James and Anton Peraire-Bueno, both recent graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
