Baker Hughes Announces Strong Fourth-Quarter Earnings
Baker Hughes Co., headquartered in Houston, revealed on Sunday that it earned $876 million in the fourth quarter.
The company reported net earnings of 88 cents per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding certain one-time items—coming in at 78 cents per share.
These results surpassed analysts’ expectations, as a consensus of 11 analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research had forecasted earnings of 67 cents per share.
During the same period, Baker Hughes generated $7.39 billion in revenue, exceeding the $7.06 billion anticipated by eight Zacks analysts.
For the full year, Baker Hughes achieved a profit of $2.59 billion, or $2.60 per share, with total revenue reaching $27.73 billion.
Since the start of the year, Baker Hughes shares have climbed 18%, matching the stock’s growth over the past twelve months.
