National Fuel Gas Reports Strong First-Quarter Results
National Fuel Gas Co., headquartered in Williamsville, New York, announced on Wednesday that it earned $181.6 million in its fiscal first quarter.
The company's earnings translated to $1.98 per share, with adjusted earnings—excluding one-time items—coming in at $2.06 per share.
These figures surpassed analysts’ expectations. According to Zacks Investment Research, the consensus estimate among four analysts was $1.91 per share.
Revenue for the quarter reached $651.5 million, also beating projections. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks had anticipated revenue of $647.1 million.
Looking ahead, National Fuel Gas anticipates its full-year earnings will fall between $7.60 and $8.10 per share.
