Helmerich & Payne: Overview of Fiscal First Quarter Results
Helmerich & Payne Reports $96.7 Million Loss in First Quarter
Helmerich & Payne Inc., headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, announced a net loss of $96.7 million for its fiscal first quarter.
The company reported a per-share loss of 98 cents. After adjusting for special items, the loss was 15 cents per share.
These figures were below analysts’ expectations, as a survey by Zacks Investment Research of eight analysts had projected earnings of 12 cents per share.
Despite the loss, Helmerich & Payne generated $1.02 billion in revenue during the quarter, surpassing the $986.4 million forecasted by six analysts polled by Zacks.
