Ripple Executive Sees Continued Acceleration in Tokenization

In the video attached to the X post, Luke Judges explained that conversations with financial institutions have shifted significantly over the past year. He said discussions are now focused on deep financial infrastructure and settlement capabilities that could expand on-chain activity by ten or even one hundred times compared with current levels.

Luke Judges acknowledged that Ripple is not the only blockchain ecosystem engaging with large financial organizations, but he said he expects tokenized assets across the industry to experience substantial growth. Referring specifically to the XRP Ledger, he noted that tokenized real-world assets totaled around $50 million in January of last year.

According to Judges, that figure has since increased to approximately $5.1 billion when cash-backed stablecoins are included, representing roughly 100-fold growth in about a year. He stated that he expects the same trajectory to continue, adding that another 100-fold increase from current levels is achievable if adoption maintains its pace.

Coach JV’s brief X post reflected a strong belief that XRP could play a major role in the future of global finance. His message aligned with Judges’ assessment that tokenization is entering a period of rapid expansion and that the opportunity ahead could be far larger than many currently anticipate.
