3 major crypto firms will report second-quarter earnings this week. Robinhood (HOOD) goes first on Wednesday, July 29, while Coinbase (COIN) and Strategy (MSTR) both report after Thursdays close on July 30. Each company might offer a different read on the same downturn. The crypto market remains volatile after a bruising second quarter, and Wall Streets price targets for all 3 crypto stocks span a wide range. 1. Robinhood (HOOD) Robinhood missed expectations in the first quarter. Diluted earnings per share of $0.38 fell short of forecasts. Crypto transaction revenue fell 47% year over year to $134 million. The stock lost roughly 6% after that report. Wall Street now expects a lower print. Zacks consensus puts second-quarter earnings at $0.39 per share, down 7.1% year over year, on revenue of $1.22 billion. This represents a year-over-year increase of 23.6%. Zacks also projects crypto transaction revenue of $83.5 million, down 47.8% year over year. Meanwhile, cost cuts will also show up in these numbers. Robinhood cut 10% of its workforce in June. The company expects about $20 million in severance and benefits costs, plus roughly $8 million in share-based compensation. It will recognize these charges in the second quarter. One catalyst arrived too late for this report. Robinhood launched its own chain on July 1, so its contribution wont appear in these results. The chain has grown quickly since, ranking among the top 5 by DEX volume and leading all chains in tokenized stockholders. The firms stock, HOOD, appreciated by more than 40% in the second quarter despite a broader market downturn. However, it has dropped nearly 5% in July. Robinhood (HOOD) Stock Performance. Still, analysts have turned more constructive on the stock. Bernstein raised its target from $130 to $160 on July 20, and Goldman Sachs moved up to $137. Mizuho now sees $130, up from $115, with an Outperform rating. Barclays boosted its target 48.8% to $122, while Morgan Stanley went to $124 from $95. Zacks consensus sees earnings of $0.15 per share on $1.31 billion in revenue, down 12.8% year-over-year. In the first quarter, Coinbase posted a $394 million net loss, its second in a row, after a sharp revenue miss. Management responded with a 14% workforce reduction. It also guided second-quarter subscription and services revenue between $565 million and $645 million. The stock, like the broader crypto market, trended downward in the second quarter, dropping over 16%. Analysts views on COIN have split into 2 camps. Coinbase (COIN) Stock Performance. Citi cut its target from $400 to $235 on July 24, while keeping its Buy rating. JPMorgan trimmed its target to $196, according to TipRanks data. Barclays holds a rare Sell with a $99 target, implying roughly 41% downside, while Bernsteins $330 Buy sees 97% upside. 3. Strategy (MSTR) Strategy removed some suspense from its own report. In a recent filing, the company disclosed an $8.32 billion loss on digital assets for the quarter ended June 30. This included a $0.9 million realized loss. As of June 30, 2026, its holdings carried a fair value of $49.67 billion, well below their $63.94 billion cost basis. The same filing confirmed its Bitcoin sales. Between June 29 and June 30, 2026, Strategy sold 1,363 BTC for $80.8 million, at an average price of $59,256 per coin. MSTR continues to amplify Bitcoins moves. The stock lost over 30% in the second quarter, twice Bitcoins 14% decline, then rebounded 12.5% in July, while Bitcoin recovered 8.4%. Strategy (MSTR) Stock Performance. Citi kept a Buy rating but cut its target to $136 from $260, nearly halving its forecast. Mizuho lowered its target to $213 from $340. At the same time, Barclays has set a $130 target. The 3 reports land within about 30 hours of each other and will set the tone for crypto stocks into August. Ultimately, the guidance may matter more than the headline numbers.
