Research Report Insights | CICC: Palantir's Business Growth Logic is Clear, Revenue and Profit Forecasts for This Year Raised
Glonghui, February 4th|CICC released a research report stating that US big data service provider Palantir announced its Q4 2025 results, with revenue of $1.407 billion, a year-on-year increase of 70%, marking the highest growth rate since its listing, exceeding market expectations by 6.6% and CICC’s expectations by 9.6%. GAAP net profit was $612 million, corresponding to GAAP earnings per share of $0.24. Due to the company’s continued acquisition of large government orders and the sustained sales momentum of its commercial AIP products, the company’s quarterly performance exceeded expectations. Considering the company’s clear business growth logic, CICC raised its revenue forecast for this year by 16.6% to $7.19 billion and introduced a 2027 revenue forecast of $9.44 billion. Taking into account the continued release of profit margins brought by cost reduction and efficiency improvements, CICC raised its Non-GAAP net profit forecast for this year by 58.7% to $3.35 billion and introduced a 2027 Non-GAAP net profit forecast of $4.03 billion. Taking into account the current relatively weak market sentiment and the company’s valuation multiples being long-term deviated from the industry median, CICC maintains its target price of $150 and a “Neutral” rating for the group.

Crédit Agricole Q4 profit misses expectations as rising setup costs offset asset management gains
Glonghui, February 4th|Crédit Agricole's fourth-quarter profit failed to meet analysts' expectations due to rising costs from restructuring its Italian business, while the bank also set aside more funds to cover bad loans and other risks. The bank's operating expenses rose by 4.7% to 4.1 billion euros, higher than analysts' expectations of 3.9 billion euros, mainly due to restructuring costs and the impact of the Italian deposit guarantee fund. In addition, provisions of 629 million euros also exceeded expectations, including funds reserved for legal risks related to UK auto loans and the recovery plan for Italy's Banca Progetto. These successive negative factors offset the strong performance of the asset management business and highlighted the challenges faced by CEO Olivier Gavalda as he emphasizes growth in overseas markets. Amid the wave of mergers and acquisitions sweeping through Italy, its second-largest market, Crédit Agricole has increased its stake in Banco to over 20%. The first-time consolidation of this stake led to a reduction of 607 million euros in fourth-quarter earnings, but it is expected to contribute about 100 million euros in recurring earnings per quarter in the future.
